How do you avoid double-bookings if there are multiple scheduling channels?

We use an optimistic locking system with transactional confirmation. When a customer selects a schedule, the slot is temporarily locked on all connected calendars in less than 200 ms. If at that moment another customer also selects the same slot from another channel (web, telephone, WhatsApp), the second receives an immediate notification indicating that the slot is no longer available and is presented with the next options. The temporary block automatically expires if the client does not complete the scheduling within 3 minutes. This guarantees 0% double-booking even at high load.

Can the system handle recurring appointments and groups?

Yes. NetVoice supports three types of advanced scheduling: (1) Recurring appointments: the client can schedule a series of appointments with the same frequency (weekly, monthly, etc.) and the system checks availability for all dates before confirming; (2) Group appointments: for webinars, workshops or group consultations with configurable maximum capacity; (3) Multi-resource appointments: when an appointment requires multiple simultaneous resources (for example, room + equipment + professional). The no-show management system works in three phases: (1) Prevention: smart reminders by SMS, WhatsApp, email and voice call with the possibility of confirmation with a click or call; (2) Detection: if the customer does not arrive 5 minutes after the start time, the system sends an automatic message asking if they need help and offering to reschedule; (3) Recovery: no-shows are recorded in the client's profile and the system can be configured to require prior confirmation in future scheduling. The freed slot is automatically offered to customers on the waiting list.
